Steve Wozniak 'can't tell the difference' between iPhone 12 and iPhone 13
darkvader said:What is wrong with you people? This is Woz, the guy who created Apple. The Steve who REALLY created apple, not the attention whore Steve who liked taking credit for what Woz did.And he's absolutely right. The iPhone 13 is effectively no different than the 12, which is no different than the 11. Phones are a mature technology, and pretending that a new model every year is somehow going to be an amazing upgrade is idiotic at this point."But battery life is better!" - Guess what? That's not innovation, Apple could have done that all along, all it takes is making the phone thicker so a bigger battery fits inside. We could have iPhones that work for a week without charging if Apple really gave up on the idiotic thin fetish. -

Apple's record $83.4B Q4 misses Wall Street expectations

what the fuck has this world come to.
I realize these concepts are very difficult for many readers at tech news sites to grasp (and not just AI, MacRumors, Macworld).
And these expectations change over time. Do you remember Apple in 1997? I guarantee you that the Street did not expect 30% YoY growth from AAPL in the mid-Nineties. -

Apple's Tim Cook: EU big tech rules threaten iPhone security

Apple says Spatial Audio is a hit, drawing more listeners to Apple Music
Beats said:Just got my AirPods 2! Thanks AI for the sale link!
I have an iPhone 7. Will I be able to use Spatial Audio?
UPDATE:
NO. You need AirPods 3 or Pro. I like the original form factor so I have no regrets. My OCD won’t let me try the new form factor without trying the originals.
Maybe in a year when there’s a deal on a newer AirPods model I will purchase and try Spatial Audio.
I’m just stoked to try AirPods for the first time!! -
