Why macOS Mojave requires Metal -- and deprecates OpenGL
Here is the kicker though! 10.13 isn't supposed to run on the 2009 Mac Pro, but runs perfectly fine! If you flash the 2009 Mac Pro with the 2010 Mac Pro firmware, it runs it fine. (Yes, the 2010 firmware allows you to flash the 2009 model)
No reasons they can't give support for the 2009 model as well, it runs it fine! They have a GT120 card that I don't think supports Metal. But the OS runs great, no lag, etc. I did upgrade to an SSD though to help with speed. -

Tim Sweeney says App Store is a 'disservice to developers,' wants to protect Metaverse
Well sorry! I want a place where I can get an app and feel some what safe about it. Not go all over to this store and that store for an app being hosted with different policies, etc. Be a fragmented mess! I won't buy games anymore unless they are on steam! I want one location as it is far easier for the consumer! Maybe Apple can cut their share down to 10-20%. They need some source of a slice of the pie for hosting, etc. -

How to pick the best printer for your new Mac mini
I would stay away from all inkjet if you don't print often. They dry up and eventually ruin the printer and just a pain in the end. Get a cheaper brother laser printer. I wouldn't recommend anything HP either as they can't keep up with driver updates for the Mac. Brother, Canon, Xerox seem to be ok at keeping drivers up-to-date for the Mac in my experience.
