Apple Watch is FDA's first-ever approved digital AFib history device
I don't know, something must be wrong with me, as I don't EVER have the Apple Watch flag me as in AFIB, but if I run the heart monitor THEN it will tell me I am in AFIB, assuming it does detect it actually. MOST of the time when I feel my heart going wrong I get the "Inconclusive" reading message instead:

Improved keyless entry system could replace car key fob with iPhone
Don't confuse the Key function with Remote functions. Things like checking the inside temp or opening the sun roof will use the cellular network and will fail if there is no cellular connection. Bluetooth is quick and local, so unlock the door, pop the frunk, things you should be able to do even if you are in a canyon w/o any cellular connection. Cannot believe the author didn't mention Tesla as all of the comments are about it. -

Protests at Apple Stores in multiple cities mar iPhone 16 launch
Yup, the world does suck these days, college students are being JUST like college students of old, not having any historical connection to what is going on, just upset by what they see, Israel and Congo are repugnant, just like the holocaust was.
Protesting Apple is what led to the 100% green Apple we have today, used to make giant plastic products, they are even striving to make all their products 100% carbon free. I think they'll survive a little protest. No one is thinking we need to dismantle them, just course correct.

Turkey launches probe into Apple's alleged price fixing
These countries are NOT practicing capitalism and letting the market bear what it will, they are fining rich companies because they see a payday.
If I sell movie tickets in my theater, but I put in special projectors and air conditioning that no other theater has, I shouldn't be limited to what other theaters charge. The free hand of the market means I will go out of business if I charge too much or too little. That's not up to the government to say. Government can check the structure of my building and the quality of my popcorn for dangerous properties and then leave me alone!
When we fixate on pricing over all else we end up with Amazon as our only retail destination. If only the U.S. government had allowed Apple and book sellers to demand a living wage off their books Amazon wouldn't be the slave labor camp it is.
