Apple discontinuing support for older Home architecture with iOS 19

Icemag 2 Power Bank review: Flashy, fun, functional
Personally, I ordered the Zendure Magnetic Wireless Charger, Qi2 Certified 15W Fast MagSafe-Compatible, 10000mAh Portable Power Bank, Supermini Q, it was $17 on Amazon, it has the leg, so I can prop the phone up vertically or horizontally, the same power, it's discrete in black w/o lights, unlike this product. It doesn't get warm during any part of the charge or recharging. It also has USB-C and USB-A outputs, a battery indicator and button, and comes with a petite USB-C cable for charging. It's the whole package. I hate Zendure support, but this isn't really gonna need any if it works on arrival. -
Baseus Nomos MagSafe Battery review: A great 'just in case' daily carry battery
Just purchased the Zendure Supermini Q Powerbank on Amazon for $17 with all the same features only slightly smaller and the matte surface doesn't pick up fingerprints. Looks like the 17% off sale is over so it's now $19. It holds on to my iPhone 13 so I can charge it and use it at the same time. I can charge the battery case on USB C and power a USB-A cord at the same time. A great bedside or pocket charger. Looking forward to taking it on our trip to Europe -
Turkey launches probe into Apple's alleged price fixing
These countries are NOT practicing capitalism and letting the market bear what it will, they are fining rich companies because they see a payday.
If I sell movie tickets in my theater, but I put in special projectors and air conditioning that no other theater has, I shouldn't be limited to what other theaters charge. The free hand of the market means I will go out of business if I charge too much or too little. That's not up to the government to say. Government can check the structure of my building and the quality of my popcorn for dangerous properties and then leave me alone!
When we fixate on pricing over all else we end up with Amazon as our only retail destination. If only the U.S. government had allowed Apple and book sellers to demand a living wage off their books Amazon wouldn't be the slave labor camp it is. -
The EU is betraying iPhone users and weakening privacy for political gain
It is interesting to see the EU trying to do the regulation that we seem to be unable to muster here in the states. They haven't been an economic power that long so it's going to have some teething pains when it tries to regulate. I guess the tech industry hasn't been around THAT long either, so when the US tried to break up Microsoft we just as ham fisted with the effort.
Having Apple be the only one forced to change, when they have spent SO much time differentiating themselves must be painful to them. To have a government force them to give away their IP too, after the whole Android copy cat fiasco must also hurt. I feel like leaving the EU with the current version of iOS would be fair, but that's not how a company grows its marketshare. I am sure it'll all come out in the wash assuming there is an EU after the war Russia seems intent to bring.
