Apple focusing on lower resolution screens to make a more affordable Apple Vision Pro

Lighter Apple Vision Pro expected by early 2026
The AVP is a really strange device. It is by far the best Apple device I ever posessed and when I use it I wear it for 3-4 hours straight….but I use it maybe 2 or 3 times a week only. It is always a treat , almost like a reward . After several months I used it for Facetime the first time this weekend and it was really astonishing. I never liked video telephony but experiencing it handsfree and allowing to share what I see with others (while they look at my avatar) is really something different. With lightweight glasses starting from 2027 on, this will be a big seller. I also like very much the mirroring of my work ipad (under MDM) + a bluetooth keyboard. I still think that its successors are the future of computing… -
Microsoft launching Loop, focused on remote & collaborative work
Unfortunately Apple has totally missed the boat in the office and cloud space. Microsoft is so far ahead it is not even funny, I work for a very large organisation ….everything now revolves around Azure, Office 365, Teams, Outlook, MS Dynamcs etc…..Micorsoft is rapidly absorbing functions from competitors….at least everything seems to work well on iOS devices -
Editorial: HomePod is as powerful as the iPhone 6, so let's have an App Store for it
I‘m pretty sure that Apple will kill the product soon which is an utter shame! they haven‘t even bothered to sell it in most countries around the globe...looking at recent fails including the laptop keyboards, charging mats, Apple car etc it seems as if Apple is more interested in debt funded share buybacks and financial engineering then its customers -

Who should stay on and who should leave the EU App Store
this whole mess can be summarized as follows ... there is no benefit for the consumer at all. It is is all about lobbyists and corporate interests.. The EU ist breaking up the appstore which kept the iPhone ecosystem very safe since its inception and allowing dangerous actors from Russia, China, Iran, Northkorea and other crooks to open up unsafe and extortionists appstores. All of it is like the cookie insanity all over again only much much more damgerous -
A unique attack could steal your passwords from Apple Vision Pro
I frankly do not understand how this could potentially work on the Apple Vision Pro. The eyes are totally covered by the device. there is no way to watch the users eyes from let’s say a remote camera (the eyes on the front display are not real) . The hacking software would already need to run on the Vision Pro, which would’ve meant that the device is anyway already severely compromised and most likely passwords and everything else are accessible to the hacker. Maybe in some European Union side loading scenario this is possible if the user unintentionally installed the software from a hacked App Store. -
WWDC 25 visionOS 3 wishlist: what we'd like to see next for Apple Vision Pro
there is one simple request I have as well. There are many people who bought used AVPs or even new ones and want to use them with their own Apple IDs in countries where the AVP was not released. E.g. Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden etc... In all of these countries you can't use the app store or Apple TV. This is a disgrace. Apple should allow the AVP to be officially used with Apple services in all countries where it officially operates.
