  • Updated 2022 iPad Pro models could use four-pin Smart Connectors

Maybe they will add a USB port to the keyboard?

  • Apple still owns rights to Sweden Kungstradgarden plot, could revive store plans

I'm not sure if Apple knew what they were getting themself into when they planed this store. The Kungsträdgården plaza is a rare place uniting the progressive left with the conservative right. In the 60s Stockholm Council wanted to cut down threes to build a Subway-entrancem which was met with wild protests. Basicaly the peak of Sweden's 68-movement. This is one thing everyone in Stockholm knows I would guess many people suport the idea that the plaza is holly and should remain unchanged. I was at the public consultation (townhall?) of the most recent concept of the Store, and people were really furious! their opinion was mostly that this idea is something only the rich people want, which is quite ironic since it later was the conservative right that vowed to block the plans. They generaly don't like anything new or tall, and what the town to have a classic look while the left don't want the plaza to be commercialized. At the consultation a left activist actually had digged up the original permit fot TGI Friday that unfortunaly said that the place can only be a resturant or a cafe. At this point I think it would be very hard for Apple to continue with their plans. But I hope they try to build a underground shop like the one in 5th Avenue or Shanghai. In that way they can remove the TGI building and make the plaza more open and would not block the view from the street. This would of course be more expensive for Apple and frankly I think they would sell more if people had a clearer look of the shop.

  • Apple circulating anti-union talking points to retail store managers

Come on, just raise the wage if you don’t want unions. Apple can afford it.

  • How Apple's Files app is getting better in iOS 16 & iPadOS 16

I really don’t understand why I can’t access my recorded video files. Why do I need to import them to photos first? Which doesn’t even work for really long movies.

  • MacBook Pro with OLED display rumored to arrive in 2024

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t OLED screens burn? Is this really smart for a computer?

  • Leaked iPhone 15 Pro images back up solid state button rumor

I think the volume buttons and the mute button are genius, and I hope apple don’t do anything to make them less useful. The mute button is super handy while in meeting to be able to mute the phone in the pocket without even looking at the phone. I guess a button would work since the phone vibrates when you press do silent mode. But I’m afraid Apple will somehow make this function less useful.

  • Apple's mixed reality headset could be what the entire AR/VR market needs to succeed

I always thought the killer feature would be video calls. If it somehow can track face and gestures and make you see who you are calling would be a game changer for telephones. Video calls are always like looking into a tv. If you could have a mixed reality version of who your taking to it would be fantastic. I bet this already exist. But Apple would probably make it easier to use. Other than that I was very impressed during Covid when my friend went to parties overseas with VR, although the technology was far from well polished.

  • Kuo casts doubt on fourth-gen iPhone SE 2024 release date

They should make it somehow like the iPhone 12/13 mini. I think it’s a great phone! But best would of course be if they continued the 5S form factor. A friend of mine still has theirs and I’m always amazed of how small it is.

  • Intel details new Skylake chips hinting at Apple's future 15" MacBook Pro specs

How likely would it be for Apple to redesign the MacBooks? They could use a MacBook typ screen, and the keyboard from the new iMac or the MacBook. The new cpu would require less battery so could they make a MacBook Pro machine at the size of a MacBook Air? Maybe this is just wishful thinking since I'm gonna buy a new machine, but it would be great to see a MacBook looking pro. Even if it was a bit thicker it would be gorgeous!
