This update is horrible. My floppy drive stopped working and MacPaint/MacWrite won't load.

Still using multiple Mac Mini 10.12.6 servers as AFP, CalDAV, Web (http links for clients), Open Directory and VPN services for our company. Works great. Especially for remote clients who can't log in by using SMB has multiple ISP's block that port.

Does anyone know the specific reason why the author mentions "4,1 Mac Pro with the firmware flashed to 5,1".  I looked around on the web and don't see any issues with people who flashed a 4,1 to 5,1 and then upgraded to High Sierra.

If the new Pro does not come with PCI-E slots then it is DOA. Those professionals who have not already moved to Windows-based (and many have already done so) will move and that will be the end of the Mac Pro era. If Apple is too pig-headed to ignore their user base then they get what they get.  After 30+ years with Apple I'm just about done. It will be prosumer at best after that.

Credit Suisse is trying to generate news to match their $221 price target. They have an inaccurate track record. Seems like nobody cares about their report as evident of  current stock price. Just another manipulator.
