I don’t appear to be able to update yet, Tuesday morning in the UK. I have a 2013 iMac.
Same here. But I am in India, and maybe it updates at a different time? That has not been the case so far, but there's always a first time!

Right now I only had an iMovie update and then nothing else showing up.

  • Apple is de-bloating iTunes with latest 12.7 release, removes App Store

    *SNIPPED FOR RELEVANCE*

on that line of thinking though I'd rather see Preview disappear and rolled into iBooks so that PDFs are read directly in iBooks but add Previews annotation functionality.
I'd rather not. I use Preview to view files other than just PDFs. Your opinion is probably based purely on PDFs and nothing else.

  • Wish list: 9 new CarPlay features for iOS 12

3rd party map is good idea but Instead, Apple should keep making it's map better. There is nothing to gain for Apple giving access to other Map Apps. Apple put efforts to create CarPlay and Google map rips the benefit collecting in-car data mining.
    Bolding mine for relevance.

Your point is from the perspective of a user in countries where Apple Maps is supported. There are many countries where Apple does not support Maps. In those countries Google Maps is the only solution. Google Maps works very well on the iPhone, and directions are extremely accurate and optimal.

Please note that most of the cars sold in such countries do support CarPlay and whatever Android's version of CarPlay is.  And the Android version supports everything right now. Apple is perceived to be wanting in some areas of CarPlay.

  • How to use Spaces, Apple's mostly ignored macOS Mojave productivity feature

OK, the article keeps mentioning four-finger swipe; and I think one person here also mentioned it.

Well, it works with the three-finger swipe, no need for four fingers.  Three fingers up works exactly the same as four fingers up; same with Left and Right.
