Apple ditches physical SIM cards from all US iPhone 14 models

The iPhone 13 and 14 both support dual ACTIVE eSIMs,*SNIP*
Where I am (and maybe elsewhere too) people use at least two numbers on one phone, one for work and one for personal use; and both are active at the same time. This feature, if available with just eSIMs would be a boon for such people.

Apple passkey feature will be our first taste of a truly password-less future
What about sites/apps for which we already have created passwords? Can they be migrated to use this system instead (and remove those old passwords from the app/site) without losing any prior features/data from said app or site?
Or is this only for any new accounts we create?
Many of us have so many logins for sites and apps we have been using for all these years, and if we have to create new accounts for all of these, thereby losing all history, it would not be very helpful.
Also, what happens with those sites or apps that need/ask for password changes every few months? Many sites have password policies that require one to change passwords regularly.
Would sites/apps need to implement this feature (like “Sign In with Apple” that most sites have not implemented at all) or is this something that needs no involvement from the site itself?
Thanks and cheers

Compared: Apple Maps versus Google Maps in 2022
One area where Google Maps shines is that I can download and store maps offline so that I still have navigation when not in a cell-reception area. Apple Maps does not permit offline maps downloads.
Yes, Apple can probably still navigate me to my destination once the route is loaded, but what happens when my destination has n0o cell service and I want to navigate from there to somewhere?

2013 iMac dying. Can I remove the Fusion drive and re-use them as two separate USB drives for backup
2013 27" iMac running Catalina - cannot install any newer OS versions. The iMac is showing signs of dying.I was wondering if I could remove the Fusion drive, and re-use them as normal USB drives, just for backups and to store some media files or documents etc.I have no intention of using it as a single fusion drive or to boot from it as a fusion drive or anything like that, I merely want to use them as I use my other USB externals - maybe plug the into a USB dock and use just to access some files. Is this even possible?Googling providfes no answers - all results talk about using it as a Fusion drive itself or about recovering data from them etc. Thanks and cheers -
The Big Redesign Feedback Thread
Unfortunately I am one of the people who is not a fan of "dark mode", either in macOS or on AppleInsider or any other forums/websites because it does funny things to my vision and head. I prefer the old Black text on White pages. Is there any way I could be given the option to choose the old layout and color scheme in my user-preferences or something like that so that I do not hinder the majority who seem to prefer dark mode?I also do not prefer the concept of the "Load (gearwheel) More" link at the bottom of every screen. I still prefer the old almost infinite scrolling. Is there a way I can set that in my user preferences please?Thank you and cheers
