  • Tile CEO 'welcomes' AirTag competition from Apple's 'runaway monopoly train'

I have to agree a bit here with the Tile dude. After a few updates, my Tile were useless for the most part. And so I switched to the AirTags. Not impressed at all. I can hold the AirTag next to the phone and it tells me the signal is weak. WTF Apple. Anyway, maybe I’m holding it wrong. Tile has nothing to worry about if this is the best that Apple cans do. Queue the fanboy flamers…
So you assume your experience is universal?
Did I say my experience is universal? I was speaking about my experience. Pay attention and don’t obfuscate.

  • T-Mobile launches unlimited 5G Home Internet service

Unlimited has been a staple of the operators for years here in Finland. I pay around $50 a month for 1000 M 5G. The US is way behind.

  • HomePod mini can be set as default speaker for Apple TV 4K in tvOS 15

Why would anyone want Mini's to replace a "real" home theater system? Yes, the Mini's are handy but come on, they are no where near a replacement for a true home theater system. Please do not fall for the Apple hype. If money is an issue then yes, get the Mini's but if you can afford say $10K for a real system then do that. My opinion only.

I have seen and read multiple reviews of Airtags and have not seen the issue you mention? Is it impossible to think that maybe your Airtag isn't working correctly and may need to be swapped out for another unit? I mean shit happens even with Apple products.. no? Your "maybe I am holding it wrong" comment makes me think either you're trolling or you are commenting with an ax to grind for whatever reason?

If it were me and a product didn't work I would either run to the Apple store to swap it out, or send it back for a replacement..period. Not coming on Appleinsider to make a blanket condemnation of a product because one unit isn't behaving correctly.
Swing and a miss. I placed my AirTag directly next to the my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I still get a weak signal reply. I tried with two other AirTag devices and got the same, so I’m pretty sure it isn’t a defect in either AirTag.

  • Apple releases slightly revised build of its newest AirTag firmware

Same. Mine is still on the old firmware.

I hate to be blunt, but I am so sick of hearing about this show and definitely don’t need an update every time they add a cast member or make a change. If I wanted that, I’d go to Indiewire.
Exactly who is making you read or hear everything about the show. There is this very cool thing in tour head called a brain that is designed to assist you in making decisions. Give it a try.

  • Apple attorneys threaten UK market exit if court orders 'unacceptable' patent fees

The may have to leave the UK market to set an example and cool the current wave of attacks. What would be the cost of not leaving?
Interesting that you did not comment on the copyright infringement but on the fact that Apple might leave. So in your mind it’s okay for Apple to steal someone else’s IP. Good to know.

  • Germany wants Apple to offer iPhone updates and parts for 7 years

F**k off, Germany. How about all German car companies start offering 7 year warranties?
And this has what to do with phones? Or did you just need some attention? Asking for a friend.
