Rumors of an Apple-made TV set are back again
Personally, I don’t see what the point of this TV set would be when you already have the Apple TV box that you can plug in plus the Apple TV+ app. These things make this TV set unnecessary and rather redundant to me.

Developers will have a hard time getting App Store users to buy directly
I would be worried about the security of where I’m downloading from. With the App Store you know it’s been checked. There’s no guarantee of that if you download from some where else.
