So this guy is complaining even though the AirTag both notified him on his iOS device and sounded an audible alarm, as it was supposed to. The failure was “ it did not work as well as HE HAD HOPED”, this should just have read Apple hater finds excuse to slam AirTag. 

I’m really sprised google were so low down the list. Although 23 and me are not officially linked to google, it was hardly supprising after years of saying they wouldn’t sell data from the profiles the determined, they eventually said that that was exactly their business model. What’s that got to do with Google you ask? Well the original CEO of 23 and Me was married to Google’s other co-founder Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin. 

Wah wah wah. We bought a VR company and now Apple looks like it’s going to up stage us with proper VR. All this and that dam privacy issue just wont go away no matter who we hire to try and clean up our image. 😩 😩 😩 

Unless the EU also investigate others doing the same thing Apple should bring their own action against the EU under their own anti-competitive laws 

The phrase “the pot calling the kettle black” comes to mind. Have you ever tried using a none windows device in a Microsoft controlled environment that uses exchange services. Don’t even get me started on the Office for Mac apps! 

Well at least if they examine each tech company separately they can take an extra long look at Micro$oft’s business practices. Not only do they operate a walled garden much more secure than Apple. Every IT department can lock down their MS systems until they are little more than an office and windows running machine, plus whatever other apps they sanction. As for support of Apple don’t count on it being to the same experience as it is on a PC. Sometimes that’s a good thing sometimes it’s just fustrating feature available to PC users are omitted from the Mac version. Not bad for a geek asked to write floating point basic for Apple who then stole their idea for a usable computer with a GUI. Unfortunately, as with other fakes it was not the same experience 

Aren’t we forgetting that this technology has been used in iPad and iPhones for years. My old ones (in iPad 4th gen - the one before the airs, and the first gen iPad Air) are still going strong with a friends parents. Yes I bought them when they came out so a good 5 or 6 years old. My 2018 iPad Pro still functions as new. These stupid stats have to stop. Apple Silicon clearly functions differently to previous silicon!
