    The M2 Mini having the same form factor is a plus in school and university labs. Since the Mini does not have any Kensington lock anchor points, labs have to depend on third party cage enclosures to secure the Mini. The M2 having the same form factor makes it possible to perform slot-in upgrades to replace older (Intel-based) equipment.

    Currently I have my iTunes on an external HD, but as mentioned in the article, it suffers from the problem that if I open iTunes accidentally without the external HD mounted, it'll default to creating a new iTunes Library in my internal drive. However, that problem may not be an issue anymore ever since SanDisk came out with the 128 GB (and recently announced 256 GB) Ultrafit USB 3.x flash drives. It's small enough to leave plugged in and always mounted, and large enough for my modest collection of iTunes media files. YMMV.

    Reading between the lines, all the software pieces for the AR/VR headset is already in place, pending the reveal.

    From WeatherKit and MapKit features, to live text recognition and Metal3 graphics upscaling, I think they'll all be used to support the rumored realityOS features. The good thing is that since all the APIs are available cross-platform, porting to the new interface would be much easier. I don't see any other OS environment having such a seamless cross-device experience, and probably not for a long time.
