  • M2 Mac mini vs M1 Mac mini - compared

    Very very tempted to jump on a M2 pro mini.  I'd bump the cores and memory, maybe a step or 2 up in storage, since it would be fastest and convenient - even though I'm used to keeping my startup drive lean.   Much as I'd love a studio display, that would have to wait.  I'm hoping the Samsung ViewFinity S9 is significantly cheaper. I'm not going to use the speakers or mic of the studio display.  If not, could still go for a LG Ultrafine 5K.   Wish I could just use my 2015 iMac 5k screen! 
    I'm used to 2x 27" (the other is just a 1440, but keeps same effective size, so fine to offload less critical windows.).
    I'm about to give up on a big new iMac - or if it comes it might be prohibitively expensive.

    I’m all for civil liberty rights, and cops can fudge them, or completely ignore them.  In this case it was an arrest in progress.  
    Handy to have a few airtags to surreptitiously drop in the vehicle “just in case”
