  • Apple hatched years-long plan to reduce royalty payments to Qualcomm, documents reveal

Qualcomm can charge whatever they want for their products. If Apple does not like it they can get modems from someone else. But they won’t do that...being the most hypocritical company and all, that complains of high prices for modems while overcharging their customers.

    LOL.  Okay!
Would it still be as funny if Apple Music had taken the top spot in this study?

Talk about unscientific but ... I do think the deals Spotify has made with various cell-phone providers to offer the service for “free” (hahaha) as part of your smartphone agreement has hurt Apple Music in the eyes of the youth market. I’m not sure if more exclusives will fix that, so I think Apple needs to make more deals with carriers as a way of offering users a choice.
Isn't Apple Music a "free" perk from the #1 provider in the US (Verizon)?

    No
But it took the 1st spot in 2018.
Waste of time, guys. These people are blinded by the Apple logo. It’s like a religion to them.

  • WhatsApp vulnerability left iOS open to spyware attack

Bahaha — so much for the argument on another story that Apple “lost” the secure chat platform space, because WhatsApp is more popular and cross-platform than iMessage. Oops. So much winning when you put your privacy into Facecrook’s hands, lol.
You sound so full of hate. Yuck.

Anyways, to those talking shit about this app and praising Apple...Apple has had their share of massive vulnerabilities in the past. Go be hypocrites somewhere else.

  • Fresh App Store monopoly lawsuit arrives after US Supreme Court ruling

I’d like to be able to install apps or third-party app stores without having to jump through so many hoops (just to have said app/stores certificates revoked a day later).

I hope they lose this lawsuit.

  • New photos show 'beta' Apple Card with NFC-enabled packaging

Would have been a bit cooler if they could drop the co-branding (especially the taste Goldman leaves for some...), but slick looking card.

I still haven't read anywhere - does it have any form of warranty extension?
As far as I am concerned, the co-branding with Goldman Sachs gives this card cache. GS is a serious, substantive financial services company. Arguably the best in the world.

And if this co-branding keeps some possible clientele out, I am actually kind of fine with their not being a part of Apple credit card pool. There certainly are plenty of other credit cards out there. (Although they’d be kidding themselves, and being hypocritical, if they think major financial services companies that offer credit cards don’t have issues similar to that of GS).
Yes, that company also has a knack for being extremely corrupt and unethical.

  • Apple's Mac spotted in viral image with black hole researcher

This is a little unclear. Were Macs used to process any of the data or did she just get the completed file emailed to her and view it on a Mac?
All that data was certainly processed by hardware running Linux.

I hope not. That thing is so damn ugly.

Oh boy...the internet is going to explode with this report!

Instead of playing the wait and see approach, let's just jump to conclusions and bitch about the keyboard instead
As this forum does with any other company that isn’t Apple.

  • Group FaceTime iOS 12.1 eavesdropping bug lawsuit is dismissed

It’s nice to hear that every once in a while a stupid lawsuit is dismissed.

Too late, the damage has already been done. I've seen several iKnockoff Knights cite this ridiculous lawsuit as proof Apple is spying on us, which in turn causes more idiots to believe it. Meanwhile they use ANDROID.....
You talk as if you know what Apple is doing behind the scenes. For all you know they are in bed with the government, like every other company.
