Collecting every possible piece of information about someone while trying to keep others from taking it from you is not protecting privacy.

Do you still have to agree to let Google read all your email to use gmail?  When you use Google tech, you become the product Google sells.  

It was much easier to understand Apple's response to the questions at the congressional hearing on privacy.

How does an artist get paid when their song is accessed on Apple Music?   How much are they paid per song?  I listen to songs on Apple music, but wonder if the artist actually makes anything.  These services should maximize artist revenue from song 1.  Selling merchandise should not be needed, the music is the merchandise.  Artists should be able to earn a living through their work.
