I’ve been following Apple since 1997. Apple Insider I have been following since 1998. Apple is going to be fined on this one. The lawyers for Apple have made the wrong decision

Interesting. I became homeless during the first of the pandemic and I kept working 2 months into the pandemic directly with my clients all the way until today. I made about 28k per year. I was living in my car for months and still went into work. All I have to say is each one of us has our priorities and I’m not going to crap on someone else’s needs or wants.

Look, Apple is in the wrong here.  They will be found guilty if this goes to trial. Instead, Apple will slowly open up their ecosystem, just watch… IWatches will soon be available on Android. Third party app stores will be available (in very limited ways) in a couple years before trial.  Consumers will have more options to customize iOS to their liking.  It will be a win for both Apple and consumers. Why? Because I have kept up on a daily basis with Apple News and innovation since 1997 on a daily basis.  The only time we had massive amounts of software innovation is n the iPhone was when you could jailbreak your phone.  After Apple has closed off this with encryption software innovation has almost come to a screeching halt. 

I’m currently locked out of my own Gmail account because I forgot my password.

I do not have notifications on messages so Google kept sending me messages in my phone (without telling me) and my account is frozen for 48 hours.

About time. Using the shortcuts app only works seamlessly with Apple Music.  I use it to open and automatically play my music app.  I used to jailbreak my iPhone and this worked seamlessly back to iPhone 3GS.  So, Apple has hampered consumers with their walled gardens long enough.

Dear Apple:

If it wasn’t for Cydia most things that make the iPhone easy to navigate wouldn’t exist. Apple really has stifled on software innovation but Cydia gave us the things we always wanted and needed for navigation. I hope Cydia wins because Apple would give us more if what we need to make the iPhone easier to use because of this.

This is the first excellent future looking story I’ve read here in over a year. The person who wrote this needs to be in charge of AI. The rest of the stories are for morons..

Having no been stalked by a psychopath myself I’m glad this suit is moving forward. For those of you who disagree with this lawsuit moving forward you have never been abused by someone with a personality disorder. So, you have no right to say anything. For those of us who have been stalked and threatened by narcissists and psychopaths we will use the courts to make sure these criminals will not be able to track and abuse us any further. Many victims who are stalked are actually killed by their stalker. Try that on for size

3nm doesn’t seem to do much for battery life. AI is so far a complete joke for doing research. Completely wrong and off the mark most of the time
