  • Epic argues Apple has 'no rights to the fruits' of its labor in 'Fortnite' filing

Just one Epic battle after another. It started with a poorly choreographed charade from Epic. And who piles on after that? The Justice Dept. with little to no concrete understanding of Apple, or for that matter, any tech company's operations. Then Microsoft decides to pile on, which is a bit surprising given their own nefarious history and their current profitable relationship with Apple. The darkest player of all in the Tech sector - Zuckerberg then very publically adds his venom as a distraction to his own woes, a result of his, like Google's, dissatisfaction with Apple's new Safari anti-tracking feature that would reduce their ability to harvest our information. Maybe they think we're blind to the fact that our information is bought and sold to…………anyone who can cough up the $$$s. That is their primary business after all. I think Google has been more hands-off on this matter as a result of their current Justice Dept. woes + their very lucrative deal with Apple as the default search engine in Safari.

  • Facebook cloud gaming launches in browsers and on Android - but not iOS

Apple should never allow anything to do with Fuckerberg on their devices.

  • Google Photos to end free unlimited storage on June 1, 2021

I've had the 2TB iCloud storage from when it was first offered - with a boatload of Apple gear (4 studios), 10s of thousands of photos, videos & full soundtracks, I still have room to breathe. On top of that, and for added convenience, I have a paid subscription to Dropbox, PLUS…………(as if that wasn't enough) 1TB Adobe Cloud account! But as a creative professional (Commercial Artist and Soundtrack Composer) I'm the type who, after being on computers since the mid-80s, has up to 40TB of external backup drives on all of my Macs (and that's from the paranoia that comes from having lost only one file, a single commercial job - one that was finished and never needed reworking). Storage is really, relatively speaking, dirt-cheap. I compare a 10TB WD drive today at under $300. to my first 2MB external drive in the '80s at over $800., and the word "exponential" certainly describes the arc of technology.

  • Epic Games calls for Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi to testify over 'Fortnite'

Epic and Trump - two abject failures unwilling to admit defeat. Go ahead and rant about not being political on this forum……to me the comparison is stark and cogent………they're both simply pathetic!

And this just in, Facebook (the pariah of our democracy) is buying full-page ads against Apple because of its privacy controls in their latest updates. Nothing would make me happier than to see Facebook drop off the face of the earth.

  • Lawsuit claims Apple Maps infringes on navigation patents

I almost thought I'd get through one day without seeing some jackal suing Apple, but at the last minute, there were 2. And surprise…… this one is being litigated in Texas……where the jackals always win. ALWAYS!

  • Apple sued for alleged infringement of wireless communication patents

"The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas". It should be renamed the "Sue Apple Court for the Western District of Texas" where ALL such suits are filed, because Texas is where Apple invariably loses due to it being the A**hole of the world!

  • Tile launches Premium Protect with $1000 lost item reimbursement promise

What a sad effort to remain relevant with the imminent release of Apple's tracker. $99./year with so many gotcha's attached to the offer feels to me like a step in the wrong direction (pun alert).

  • Mark Zuckerberg says 'competitive interests' drive Apple's push for privacy

Can't believe Zuckerberg is still whining in public like this. Facebook/him are already viewed as a pariah, so what does he do? DOUBLE DOWN! I guess I need to text him, hope he doesn't mind that I use iMessage.
