On the face of it that sounds like a potential security vulnerability. A Mac will recognize a nearby iPhone on the same network and access the camera even if the phone is locked. I’m admittedly a bit paranoid about security but that sounds kinda’ sketchy.Your iPhone doesn't even have to be unlocked. The Mac still recognizes that it's near, turns on the iPhone's camera,

The logo being the charging area would present a problem with an iPad completely covering any charging mat, including those that charge more than one device. A more elegant solution would be to put the charging area in one of the three available corners, so that only a fraction of the iPad would need to make contact with the charging pad.
