  • M1 Pro and M1 Max GPU performance versus Nvidia and AMD

You can't compare Teraflops from one GPU architecture to the next.  That is not how it works.

For example, the Radeon RX 5700 XT had 9.7 Tera flops for single, the previous generation the Radeon RX Vega 64 had a 12.6 Tera flops for single and yet in the benchmarks the Radeon RX 5700 XT was superior.

The idea that a Vega 56 is as fast as a GeForce RTX 2080 is just laughable.  There is not a single benchmark review that puts the Vega 56 matching or beating the GeForce RTX 2080.

  • How Steve Jobs saved Apple with the iMac 27 years ago

just try to think of any other computer — any other device — that is still being sold a quarter of a century after it was launched.

Dell Dimensions are still being sold........

Thinkpad laptops are still being sold.

    Playstations are still being sold

Heck even Sony's Walkman is still being sold.

There are a lot of electronic products that are still being sold a quarter of a century later using the same name branding.

  • Apple Vision Pro is revolutionizing surgical procedures worldwide

Medical teams literally across the globe are all saying the same thing: Apple Vision Pro is a medical game changer.
Which teams?  Can you give names?  How about links?

The last paragraph says very clearly it’s being used more: “ Despite being used for surgeries previously in the UK, and now Brazil,”. Surgeries plural in the UK.
So, in other words, one person in the UK has used it for multiple surgeries. ........

Nice list, but I will note that the statement you quoted didn't state that the Mac was the only "computer" being sold with the same branding 25 years later.
And I will note that the statement being quoted is implying that the iMac is a rarity, not just in computer branding but in electronic branding for being actively sold after 25 years.  My point with my list is that it isn't a rarity at all, in fact it is quite common, not just in computers also in other electronics, such as as the sony walkman.

Also, while I'm perfectly fine with modern portable music players and video game consoles being included as they are very specialized computing devices* I do think the original statement is referring to personal computers in the traditional sense.

Read the original quote again, you see the part where it says "any other device", what do you think that means?  It means any electronic device that is not a computer.

  • Apple will surrender less than a day of earnings to satisfy class action suit

    This somehow has to stop.

Countries with their fines and individuals w/their class action suits are using Apple as their personal trust account to withdraws funds.]

This lawsuit was due to Cook purposely lying about the sale slowdown in China to investors, you can't do that.

The biggest problem for the movie is that it has really serious pacing issues in the first 2 and half hours, it has basically no drama in the first 2 and half hours.

Apple needs to put a safety disclaimer, with regards to downloading from outside of the App Store. Now it’s at the owners risk, as these have not been certified with an Apple Gold Check mark, which means they’ve been tested at Apple.
Apple needs to NOT imply that apps from outside the Apple app store are somehow any less safe than apps from inside it, because if they lie like that they're going to find themselves with even higher fines.

    And that's a good thing.

Apple has been treating you so badly for so long that you've developed something akin to Stockholm Syndrome.
But it is not a lie, it is a simple statement stating that "apps downloaded outside of the app store have not been verified and tested by Apple, and as a result there could be an increase security risk."

The whole point of Apple app store, the Windows store, and Google Playstore is that these apps have been verified and approved already for security.

They are paid accordingly. They also get benefits as well. This is not professional position...it's retail. And trust me, if someone leaves tomorrow there WILL be someone waiting to come in. Again, this isn't corporate Apple, this is retail where they won't have an issue replacing someone.
Why does it have to be a professional position?  If someone leaves Apple corporate, guess what, there will be someone waiting to come in for that corporate position.

Apple won't have an issue replacing someone at corporate either.
