Don't like the conditions and your employer isn't breaking the law? Have conviction and quit. Walking off the job is a very different thing than a protest. By all means protest. Walk off the job? See you at the unemployment office.
Disagree pretty much entirely.  Be the change you want to see in the world, don't just turn your back on it.
You have to realise what company they are fighting. Most people here are "apple can do no wrong" types.  I am supporting the workers 100 percent. Just as I support the Amazon workers taking a stand.  Terrible working conditions are terrible working conditions no matter what company it is.  Most people here think apple's farts smell like roses and baby powder. They are a megacorporation who do not care about anything other than the almighty dollar. End of story.

Yeah, I’ve jumped from forum to forum and it’s always the same. Apple Cult is a real thing.
    So are trolls.
It's not Trolling if it's the truth.  :D

  • The new MacBook Pro: Why did Apple backtrack on everything?

Yeah, as great as a designer as he is, Jony started to sacrifice too much utility and durability at the altar of form.  (Much like Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings and houses looked great and innovative but were prone to structural and water damage.)  Jony's departure was timely.  He was probably getting bored too as there is only so much designing one can do on thin rectangular bricks.
You mean to say there was only so much thickness he could shave off the devices before they were completely unusable right?  He's a one trick pony. I have seen other things he "designed" too. The leica camera which was a terrible design. His pretentious "lovefrom award"...He's washed up now. It's great to see apple moving away from his god awful choices of thinner at all costs design to moving back to acutal function over form.  I did like the idea of the touchbar, as it could do many things if implemented correctly.
What a charmer you are denigrating someone that is responsible for so much of Apple's successes. Easy to do from your internet armchair. You realise most of the planet disagrees with you, but go ahead with your little silly narrative that you are this master designer critique and Jony Ive is crap, and rewrite history in your own mind, doesn't make it so.
Keep defending poor choices all in the name of the almighty fruit. Where to start.

    • removal of ports
    • poorly designed keyboards that routinely failed in the name of thinness
    • Notch for face ID instead of proper design of the system and touch ID remaining
    • thinner iPhones to the point that if you look at them wrong, they would bend.
    • thinner iphones at the expense of battery life.
    • regurgitation of current designs over and over
    • fragile macbooks where the slightest movement of the lid would crack the screen glass by the macbook label
    • piss poor cpu/gpu cooling on macbook pro in the name of thinness
    • removal of any user upgradability for macbook, imac, mac mini

the list goes on and on.  The "AMAZING" jony Ive leica camera. built from the slipperiest materials known to man. All buttons removed for image control in favor of touchscreen menus which are useless basically for a camera.

And NO. the "world" does not disagree with me.  Even apple does not since they are reversing many of the silly design flaws Johnny instilled in apples design philosophy until his firing.

  • iPhone 14 will get 48MP camera sensor, folding lens arriving with iPhone 15

As for the comment regarding the megapixel bump only for marketing.  I will leave this here.  This phone was released in 2013, has a 41 mp camera, and still holds it's own today against 2021 flagships. So, if apple is going to use a 48mp camera,  I am going to go out on a very small limb and say the images from that sensor will be amazing. I will go out on an even shorter limb and state that this will be a turning point for iPhone pictures.
