Everybody seems to have a lot of ideas for how Apple should spend its money when it’s literally one of the few companies in the world that honestly tries to do things the right way. 100% clean energy goal, 100% recycling goal, no conflcit minerals, privacy protections, an inspection process for 3rd party manufacturers... 

Don’t punish one of the only companies in the world that has figured out how to do capitalism without being straight up evil. 

Almost every v1 Apple product is a dud, commercially. First Apple Watch, first Homepod, iPad, first iPhone really. It's usually the 3rd version where the price and the features finally click and people fall in love. 

Tricky to show off good sound capabilities when people are watching the commercial on a device with lesser sound capabilities. But I think they did a good job and at least put the focus on sound, not siri

I know I've been using Apple Pay a lot more ever since my physical card got the chip. The chip is crazy slow, slower than swiping was. It finally motivated me to change my habits and pull out my phone to pay instead. 

This is essential for HomeKit. Otherwise you have to carry your iOS device to with you at all times to control lights, etc, and guests are unable to do things at all. 

Control of a fixed devices requires a fixed control. You never want to have to go find your light switch. 

Also important to remember... Apple always leaks ridiculous prices for their new products. iPad was rumored to cost $1500 to $1800. Then they launched it at $500 and everyone thought it was cheap.

If they're leaking $3000, theres a good chance this thing is actually launching at $1200 or so. 

Important to remember when this launches... every single new product Apple launch has been hated and made fun of. And then 2 iterations later it becomes a widespread success. So I fully expect everyone to be incredibly disappointed when this launches and then change their mind in a few years.

That last one with the rotating apple was awesome

I really have no idea how to predict what Trump's ultimate environmental strategy is going to be.

Ok, now I see how this could work. They'd be following the recent Apple Watch model.

2015: Original Apple watch released
2016: Original Apple watch gets spec upgrades, renamed Series 1, New Apple watch gets named Series 2
