Apple closes all retail stores outside of China until March 27
This is the most overblown BS I have seen in my lifetime. Pure hype. The entirety of the American media should be dissolved for creating this panic.
Corona killed what, less than 100 Americans? Swine Flu killed 23,000 Americans, nothing. Measles? Nothing. H1N1? Nothing. EBOLA? Not a damned thing.
One basketball player gets a cold and the whole country loses its f#$(%(& mind.
Glad I have cash on hand because the market is having the sale of the century, and all its going to cost is the economy, and thousands of jobs.
Shame on all of you lemmings who are playing along. -

Notes of interest from Apple's Q4 2020 and annual earnings report
22july2013 said:Most companies are hurt by health & economic crises (eg, tourism, restaurants, airlines, etc.) but some companies can be helped because their products assist in defeating the crisis. It seems to me that companies like Apple which provide tools that can help during a crisis (eg, webcams, online entertainment/movies/books) should be benefitting. So I was expecting more. Maybe that's why their stock fell. -
AirPods and AirPods Pro success better than Apple 'could ever imagine'

Banksy mural in France uses Apple's Steve Jobs to make statement about Syrian refugees

Furthmore, Jobs not being Muslim makes his point and of those that aren't acting like pussies when it comes to helping those in need, because the offspring of immigrants are very likely to adapt to the American culture. -
What Apple would have to do to comply with Donald Trump's American-built mandate
foggyhill said:bweston said:I'm not speaking as a Trump supporter… he's not my guy… but I can't stand media mischaracterizations, and this is just one of a litany of such…There was no "mandate", nor did he say anything about "forcing" Apple to do anything. Specific words spoken, in the context of Making America Great Again, were "I think we're going to get things coming. We're going to get Apple to start building their damn computers and things in this country instead of in other countries."This reads as if to say "we are going to make Apple WANT to start building their damn computers in this country again"… again, you make America great, manufacturing comes back here. It is irresponsible to use the word "mandate" or to assume that he was talking about doing anything by force.
There is no misrepresentation and you are a Trump supporter or you wouldn't even attempt to defend his crap.
his jingoist "making American great" (sic) is sickening on sight. The US is right now one of the only bright economic spot on earth and is already good. Could it be better: yes, everyone strives for better. -

Shareholder motion asks Apple to aim for net-zero greenhouse gases by 2030
I am so sick to death and tired of these Envirochondriac nutbag leftist climate change buttholes. None of this is anything more than an attempt to force people to submit to a particular dogma using "THE FATE OF THE PLANET" as some sort of ultimate moral authority by which to levy their taxes and control your behavior. Such garbage, every last bit of it.
Look at this cack right here:
"December's Paris Agreement on climate change, which settled on limiting global warming to 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) over pre-industrial temeratures, and 1.5 Celsius (2.7 Fahrenheit) if at all possible."
So they're going to limit the temperature of earth, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE?!
Guess what? IT ISN'T. It isn't at ALL possible to affect the temperature of earth short of global thermonuclear war, and even then, Earth will return to right where she was eventually.
