Cellebrite says it can pull data from any iOS device ever made

EU hits back at Apple withholding Apple Intelligence from the region
Apple is right to withhold new features such as Apple Intelligence from the European Union
since the DMA would force Apple to give up user's privacy and data.
For example, if Apple is forced to allow other AI platforms such as Facebook's platform to replace Apple Private Cloud Computing (Apple's AI platform),
then user data is going to go to private companies or would be even sold to third parties.
Imagine all your phone contacts, your passwords, your photos, your text-messages, your credit-card numbers being sold to third parties.
Apple does not have to introduce new features in every region.
Apple already has to block certain app sales in China to comply with Chinese law, for example.
Apple's Private Cloud computing cannot yet be introduced in China since the Chinese don't want
responses against the Chinese Government.

Purged screen time monitoring apps misused enterprise tools, Schiller says
So by using MDM technology, the DEVELOPER can have complete access to your iPhone and its contents and can install apps without your knowledge.
Obviously, that is a privacy violation - particularly if this gives the DEVELOPER access to your child's iPhone.
Next thing you know, Child Molesters and Hackers will create apps using MDM technology to take snapshots of your children or yourself in compromising situations.
Apple is RIGHT to BAN these apps and BAN these Developers for misusing Apple Technology. -

Phil Schiller again defends Touch Bar MacBook Pro's 16GB RAM limitation
Intel is the main problem. Intel can't design and build advanced processors quickly enough. They are so slow, 5 year old computers are nearly as fast as current computers.
Apple can't help it if Intel limits its capabilities. Intel was slow with Thunderbolt 1, 2, and 3. Intel was slow with USB 2 and 3. Intel is slow in supporting fast energy saving RAM. Intel is slow in developing GPUs. etc.
I run into the 16 GB limit all the time on my MacBook Pro 15" Retina. I'm a professional - a physician. And I run 32 apps at the same time including 4 simultaneous backup apps, three web browers with tons of tabs, etc. If not monitored and managed my apps can saturate the file system and literally freeze the user interface. I have thousands of memory page-outs - which means the Mac is wasting time transferring information from RAM back and forth with the SSD. Having 32 or 64 GB RAM would be great.
But Intel drags its feet.

Apple, Maine Department of Education working to swap 'toy' iPads for MacBooks
I agree. For students, a laptop is a far better choice than a tablet. Even as good as a tablet an iPad is, it simply cannot do what a student needs to get the job done.
When studying using a computer to do research, one needs to multitask between different apps - e.g. a word processor, a web browser, a data-storage/note-taking app, and others. You also have to store files and organize them. This multitasking is not easily done on an iPad. It doesn't have windows for apps you can easily switch back and forth. It doesn't give you access to a file system.
For anything other than drawing, a laptop is far superior to and far more versatile than a tablet.
For teaching computer science, an iPad is worthless since you cannot program on it like a Mac. And computer science is a necessary skill these days.
