Having looked around, it seems that everywhere is low or out of Mac minis, so PC World seem to be right on this occasion. It only confirms what we already know - the mini is due to be updated or dropped soon. At least it looks as if we won't have to…

I wouldn't read too much into PCWorld when it comes to macs. I used to work for DSGi, and their Mac knowledge and buying power isn't great.

I use Safari almost exclusively. I need to use Firefox for one of my online bank accounts at present however, as that bank hasn't ratified Safari 3.0 yet. I prefer it as it just feels so 'Apple'. The only thing that bugs me is that I would like a…

Thanks very much for the info

There is a mirror key on some PowerBooks / MacBook Pros. It doubles up as one of the F keys if I remember correctly. I'm guessing this isn't on the 12" then?

If the new iMac is to be Paris or later though, we may well see a speed bump soon though (Tuesday?) which keeps it well under 13 months.

I'm going to upset a few optimistic people and say there will be no new hardware on Friday. It'll be all about iPhone - anything would get lost behind the iPhone launch and wouldn't be noticed. IMHO, if there is to be a whole new iMac it will be …

I'm finding the 'Merge all windows' menu command quite useful too, since I like my tabs. Re-open from last session could be handy if you crashed too. Definitely loving the new find - much easier to actually see the word you were looking for. T…

Us poor UK folks still get the boring old website too. Seems like someone is being a bit lazy this week - store updates etc are normally simultaneous.

How can it be 3.0.1 when it is a beta?! Surely it should be beta 2! Still, good to see Apple reacting quickly to bug reports. A few days longer before release would have saved a lot of bad press though.

That complaints about a crap WWDC are really funny. Sure, I'd have liked to see a shiny new iMac etc like everyone else, but to say that developers are pissed off is silly- I suspect that 99% of developers paid the fee to be there not so they could …

Just having a think here - it doesn't seem so unlikely that someone could hack the Apple TV to run EyeTV? Sure, you would need to utilise the USB port, but I'm sure someone can work it out since it runs OSX. If someone could figure this out it becom…

The Apple TV is still no use to me until it has a DVD player and DVR support. Until then (or never), I'll need to keep a Mac mini under my TV, but it means the main computer will have to be on to stream music since you can't sync a Mac mini.

How about the extra £29 for the shuffle since the shuffle is £49 here now? I would probably join you to be honest - I like my aluminium casings and iTunes support, but I still suspect that this makes the shuffle a tad over-priced. Perhaps if the shu…

iTunes + isn't officially on the UK front page yet either, but if you go into your account and enable iTunses +, and then search for an EMI artist, eg Coldplay, some results have a + beside them. Probably the same in Canada?

Ye, down in the UK too. The MacBook page wasn't looking quite right for me earlier (it was as if the CSS wasn't properly loaded) so it may just be error correction.
