  • in my opinion the finder works fine... I do think spotlight will eventually mostly replace it! It will be gradual and it will still be needed for Network and USB device style tasks
  • I've done pretty well with Tiger. I complain where it something's wrong, though. I think Dashboard is nice, but takes much too long to start up, for instance. And I think the Finder needs some work.
