It’s good to get an official response. It sounds like the fix won’t affect performance.

Note that all 3 monitors display the same. True multi-monitor support is for Windows only, as this uses MST, which macOS does not support.

Finally another 5K panel choice.

This makes sense, particularly if the base 14” has the additional ports and the redesigned MacBook Air does not, as it will be a bigger differentiator. While I’d like to see the M2 MacBook Air get a bit lighter, that doesn’t seem likely.

Update. They are honoring the 6% for those who placed orders when it said it was eligible for the double cash back. They are posting statement credits for 3% in addition to the Apple Cash.

Yes, this appears to be the case. My purchase originally said 6%, but only 3% posted today when the charge went through. Apparently the promotion was only for new Apple Card holders.

They wouldn’t sell it if they didn’t make money on it. That said, for some, having the peace of mind makes it worth it. As for theft protection, also check to see if your homeowner’s/renter’s policy offers protection. I had a phone stolen and making…

There used to be an app called Caffeine that did something similar. I think it was last updated in 2010, so it likely doesn’t work or won’t work much longer if it still does.

Are we sure that's not supposed to read 600,000 wafers annually, not processors?

One difference between the early 2020 Air and base MacBook Pro is that the latter could sustain high power longer because it used higher wattage chips. That could well be the case with the new models. I.e. both the new Air and Pro are using the M1 c…

Wasn’t Skylake the one where all the security flaws became known? The irony is that is where Intel stalled. All of the 14nm+++++ were iterations of Skylake.
