The Titanium Watch also comes with a sport band and an extra year of warranty.

This is not necessarily evidence that they plan to use this technology. When they announced FaceID they said they had stopped development of in-display TouchID, which implies they had started it. They’ll patent whatever they can.

Based on the Cinebench scores, I’m going to guess that the fan isn’t to cool the CPU, but instead to provide thermal capacity for Thunderbolt and the T2 chip. That’s likely why it isn’t connected to the CPU’s heat sink.

I prefer having a back cover for the protection. Also the old keyboard got a bit unwieldy with the keyboard folded in back. It isn’t as if the connector got much traction outside Apple and Logitech, so the change is no big deal for me.

Michael was nearly a category 5 when it hit. The damage will likely be historic. 2017 and 2018 have been bad years for hurricanes after a comparatively quiet 5 years before. Hurricanes tend to come in cycles.

Would this affect 32-bit Windows programs that run under WINE implementations like Crossover? Or as long as Crossover itself becomes 64-bit would it present the Windows program as 64-bit to MacOS?

Interesting. I didn’t expect that so soon. Windows on ARM emulates 32-bit x86 but not x64. With Apple’s push on 64-bit I wonder if they plan to emulate x64.
