This article is very misleading. It mentions "Dropbox 318.2" in the headline, but then goes on to refer to various issues related to macOS. Dropbox 318.2 is the iOS version (it's actually up to 320.3 as of 24 March) But Dropbox on macOS is current…

Seems like a good place to ask this%u2026 Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the iOS Apps which are used in the latest iPad AIR "Pencil" TV ad? Thanks...

Dont like it at all. A definite step backwards. As others have said, too much white space, not enough contrast. Hard to read the articles. Either bring back the old design (unlikely) or at least give us a choice.

My two cents on the new MBP (alleged specs)... Been waiting forever for decent graphic performance, so if the GPU is significantly better than my Mid-2007 MBP, I'll upgrade. I drive a 30" monitor from the MBP, but dont mind buying/using an adapte…

Seems I've stirred up a mini-storm here. mjteix, thanks for the info and link. However I'm not conversant enough with the nomenclature, and I see no mention of Gainestown on the list or on Tom's Hardware site. mdriftmeyer, you say "You'll see …

All of this discussion is around resolution and response time. Not to diminish these as important aspects of the display, but as a photographer, I am very concerned about color accuracy. Although some people just use their screens for text based…

Frankly, less interested in saving money... more interested in getting a machine without problems. I do live near an Apple store, so leaning toward that route, as I can see the machine and try to swap it on the spot if there are issues vs. having…

http://www.tweaktown.com/news/7397/index.html What is the general guess as to how long it will be before a Mac version with drivers is available? In otherwords, should I hold off on the purchase of a new Mac Pro for another two weeks, or will i…

I need to make a MacPro purchase NOW, (already ordered 8GB of RAM yesterday) but am still not sure of the best way to proceed. I am trying to choose between the MacPro Quad-Core 3.0 or the Eight-Core 3.0. Frankly, I dont need the 8-core right now…

How much free space do you have on your drive? OS X needs plenty of room for creating virtual memory files. If you drop below a certain amount, you will be swapping files constantly which will slow things down. I try to keep at least 20GB of free sp…

This thread has been quiet for awhile. I know that NVIDIA is getting ready to release new cards which might appear at NAB, but the price point is too high for non-video intensive uses. What is the current news on the X2800/R600? Also, after re…

I need to update to a machine that will run Aperture FAST. I was going to jump on the 8 Core, but I wonder if I'd be better off picking up a used Mac Pro, like a 2.66 Dual Core with an ATI X1900 (and maybe saving my money for an NVIDIA Quadro FX 460…
