I bought two recently and, as someone else noted, I have not been blown away by the sound quality or “room-filling sound”. At $299 the didn’t break the bank. However, the lack of line-in for my vinyl record player still leaves me unhappy with the product overall. That clearly is designed to protect Apple Music subscriptions. Three out of a possible five stars, IMO.

My wife has had her iPad 3 since it debuted (2011?) and until recently I have been unable to convince her to upgrade. Now, she'd prefer a thin-and-light laptop, as she wants a more powerful multitasking environment to work with pictures. I'm hoping …

I need "low power mode" in Control Center. So annoying to need to drill down into Settings to get to this. Not to mention that, as far I can tell, it is enabled by default and always is activated below a preset battery percentage. I should have an o…

If that Space Black SS with Space Black Milanese Loop is real, I'm all in at 42mm. That's just a gorgeous piece of hardware.

Unbelievable that any consumer tech company chairman would think customers unwilling to spend money on hardware would be willing to pay recurring fees on services-especially in a market notorious for piracy IP infringement. Just how many billions ca…

I dropped Dropbox after iCloud Drive gained an iOS app. Dropbox's "either or free or $10.00 per month" strategy may be failing. I don't need anywhere near 1TB of data, so I felt fleeced by Dropbox every month and I have been a user for shortly after…

Lately, things suddenly went from mainly iPhone 5 models to iPhone 6 models here in NYC (at least what I see on the subways) very, very quickly. I'm really quite surprised by all of the 6 models. it's as if the vast majority of 5S users upgraded t…

I bought an Atari 2600 years ago for old school games, but the controllers are terrible. The gameplay here looks super smooth. If only Apple would throw a ton of money at some of these companies. I mean, where and in what kinds of numbers can they…

I'd like to see four sections of Apple Music, each of them may be individually disabled: 1) "Discover" containing "For You", suggestions from Apple Editors/Curators as well as your social network and "Top Hits", based purely on industry charting …

And the interior packaging looks cramped and cheap. They should have used black, not white, interior inserts and a custom black lightning cable. You can't always justify outsized hardware markups on the basis of software. The hardware needs to refle…

I'm not a fan of the industrial design. The former model's proportions seemed pleasing-this, not so much. If they needed the height for wifi, perhaps they could have done a more narrow base. Perhaps they could have used aluminum? Or even white plas…
