Lack of ePub export in affinity publisher sadly is a deal breaker for me.

A fun sports-column-esque romp (freshman high school essay writing quality notwithstanding). But... It's hard to point anyone in the right direction when you have no moral compass. Implying Bill Gates personally—and absolutely—has no morals is a b…

Does improved selfie camera along with super wide front camera taken together sound to anyone else like Apple is laying the groundwork for a built in 360 camera?

Great looking product. Thanks for the preview! Question: Does super tank support trickle charging? Could it charger from a regular 5v usb outlet (or more to the point, could it be charged from a low wattage portable solar panel). ...If the answer…

Nice write-up and conversation. There’s such a bottleneck for PCIe lanes over thunderbolt that in my humble opinion (or at least for my use cases) egpu really only makes sense as a first choice solution for a laptop docking station with a performan…

Nice write up. Could airpods be charged wirelessly on the bottom charger when the phone isn’t there? Too bad it has the ability to wirelessly charge fewer devices than some.

Interesting analysis. From a consumer point of view I think when apple has been at its best, it has brought a class of product with a level of functionality, reliability, fit, and finish, that couldn't be gotten elsewhere at any price. The original…

”ineffectually failing” so being bad at not succeeding? Anything like bring wildly successful? I get the gist of the article, but sloppy writing can be so distracting.

I can not believe pro video formats 2.0.7 still does not support AVC All Intra 400 for GH5 etc. OTL

60 watts of PD is not pro. Almost an amazing dock but useless as a single cable solution for 15” MBP without 87watts.

Nice article, but I have one quibble (minor complaint) with the use of the word squabble (argument, as between children).

Nice article, but “Versus . . . Compared?”

Very enjoyable article. -though I’d hardly call the 13 year run of FireWire on the Mac short-lived, especially given the company it’s in. To add my 2¢ to the tb3 and beyond discussion. For applications such as eGPU and mission critical data transf…

A bit sadistic to put the part about how to archive your account after the part about how to delete it.

So I just got in a reply from the wonderful folks at Caldigit regarding my in query about how the USB ports do or don't share busses: "The short answer is that there are a total of 3 USB buses for a total of 7 USB ports. The USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 + 1…

It looks like a decent TB3 dock has finally arrived! Anyone know if all the USB 5Gbps ports share a single bus? I'm wondering about total throughput when multiple HDDs are connected.

cgWerks said: If there are other ports on the eGPU like Ethernet or USB, do they function regardless of whether you 'eject' the GPU or not? It would be great if you could use the eGPU or not (i.e.: say you want quiet), but still utilize the e…
