Clean UI and it works well -- impressive.

Such a visionary, on so many levels.

Wow, good call! I totally forgot that my iPod?s battery is particularly robust...not to mention the awesome text entry features! (Oh, and let?s not forget the size of the screen!) lol! Really, you need to expand your horizons: Noka.com M…

Uh, I do. Turns out that cell phones do some pretty cool stuff these days (Bluetooth, web, email, video, camera, games), and I'm looking forward to iTunes on my phone.

How about some pictures of the outside of the case?

The button just resets the logic board...there really is nothing magic about it. So yeah, if it works, close the case and enjoy it.

My gut tells me that if you are worried about the $250, it's probably not a good idea to fuck around with it. If, on the other hand you don't really care and just want to try - pull the trigger (just be sure to post your results).

The archive & install will take all of your application, network and system settings over to the new version. I use it all of the time without any issues...that said, whenever you upgrade to a new OS *always* backup your data.

Dude, just use a flash drive.

Reset the router...if that does not work, do an archive & install on your Macs.
-
If it will not mount in Disk Utility that is usually a good sign that the drive is dead. Don't waste your time - return the fucker!

No worries on the firmware update...it only applies if you want to run 9.
-
Nope, the best thing that you can do is an archive and install...sorry my friend.
-
No worries dude, at least the problem is solved!
-
Hang in there man...any day now it will be released.

Nice post. I was in college when DR1 & DR2 came out...always wished I had the money for the full membership.8)

iWork is a cool program and all, but it seems like Apple would have been better served by going with something like Open Office (an open source project)...kind of like what they did with Safari. Just my $0.02
