How about a Dell or Samsung? You can look at some of Samsung's at Amazon.com For Dell's, go to Dell's website. Obviously Dell usually wins the battle on display prices. This would be a good choice for under $300: http://accessories.us.dell.com…

I normally say buy it now. However, we have been reading things online that updated iMacs may be out in mid-April, with Tiger. Un updated spec iMac and Tiger would probably be enough to make me wait. Mid-April is not very far away.

I tried Cherry OS on both of my Windows XP machines, and it failed on both. haha.

Maybe you guys could help me with something. I ordered a 20 inch Cinema display from Amazon a couple weeks ago, and the box arrived beat-up, with even some dirt inside. However, the display works fine. Amazon even gave me $100 off the $930 I paid…

I purchased the new 12 inch, and I love it. I find it to be a very capable machine. It has certainly met my needs. I use all the Apple applications, plus Photoshop and Illustrator. I must say that I have not been disappointed in any aspect of th…

I've had my 12 inch Powerbook 1.5 G4 for 3.5 weeks now. It is a beauty, and everything works perfectly.

I am very happy I logged onto the Apple rumors sites this evening. Tiger on April 15! That would be fantastic! I can't wait. Tiger, Tiger, Tiger! I'm happy to hear they may have an event to talk about it on April 1. That way they can setup…

Yes, using the made-for products is probably best. I believe iKlear is great for screens, and iKlear even has an entire Powerbook cleaning kit. However, I will sometimes use a slightly damp (water only) microfiber towl on the screen, and then fo…

Yes, this will be a good change. I think a lot more people who walk into an Apple store and never do anything with teh computer, will end up a lot happier with the performance now. This also makes me think that the Powerbooks may not be updated …

Wingnut - I've ran into that same issue, when installing OS X on a new disk. I guess that is how it goes. Yes, I would like to see xbench scores with the 7200 RPM drive. Congratulations on your very nice upgrade.

This would be a decent idea I think. It would make the transition easier too, for I wouldn't care about new Powerbooks so soon, since I wouldn't want such a big machine, although it certainly has a market.

I'm really stupid, when it comes to games. They are too complex these days for me, and I can't stand playing more than thirty minutes every six months. I keep thinking there is soemthing out there I would like...

Well, I love how people were awaiting Powerbooks two updates away, before the last update came out five weeks ago. I guess five weeks makes the next speculation a little more acceptable, but I'm not sure. I purchased the newest 12 inch Powerbook…

Wow. I just realized this is now March. At one time, March 22 was looking like a possible release date, but it seems the later part of April is the earliest we can expect now, from rumors/speculations I've seen. I can't wait!

I want Tiger! I would buy the development package for $500, but at this point it seems like a waste of $$$. I just need to wait a little more. I think for the next release, I will join the $500 thing, so I can be part of the creation.

I want to see the pictures too!!
