  • Quote: Originally posted by mmorrissette awesome, thanks Hi Guys, I was curious. When I hook-up my Powerbook or Intel iMac to the television for s-video, it doesn't go all the way to the edges of the screen. Is this just one of those ann…
  • I agree. This machine doesn't feel good with 512MB of memory. It feels like a normal mac with 1 GB, and a world-class Mac with 1.5GB or 2GB.
  • Sure, *most* of my orders do ship and arrive earlier than the Apple projections. It is a shame that orders are sometimes delayed, but yes, they do sometimes arrive sooner than promised.
  • I like Appleworks, for it opens instantaneously. I use it probably daily even with iWork and Office installed.
  • Quote: Originally posted by ciparis I picked up a mini-DVI cable today and hooked up my Gateway 21" widescreen display. This image (crappy cellphone cam -- sorry) is showing the iMac doing spanning, with both displays set to 1680 * 1050 (native f…

  • Hi. I'm a bit excited about the new video output options on the iMac. At first I thought I was going to get the 20-inch and sell my ACD. However, now I think I should get the 17-inch, just stash it out of sight, and use my 20-inch ACD. …

  • Cosmo, I'm sorry you're experiencing the same issue. I guess, as you suggested, deleting the backups and starting over is the only real solution right now.

  • My 60 gig white shipped from Amazon.com, on Friday. If UPS doesn't let me down, it should be here Monday.
  • Quote: Originally posted by melgross The 20" iMac is cheaper than the last one, even with the camera and remote. Yep and the imac display now beats the cinema displays in brightness and contrast ratio.
  • This will be great. Mac Mini will have dual-layer Superdrive, but Powerbook doesn't.
  • Does core image actually do anything, for the user? I think it is more hype than anything. Yes, it has some fantastic potential, but I don't think its doing much for us, now. This update sounds great. Get the processor a little faster, get t…
