"TikTok says it has never been asked to provide U.S. user data to the Chinese government and wouldn’t if asked." BS -- on both points. They would turn over date in a heartbeat if the CCP demanded it. And they've misused and shared U.S. user data in…

Given the scope of the fraudulent scheme and the ringleader's attempts to evade apprehension, he should have gotten closer to the ten year max. He's doing at least four years. And if he's not a legal resident, I'm sure he'll be booted from the count…

I'll gladly watch another season. I was mildly disappointed with the last ep... because I wanted more. And there are several loose ends that are ripe for tying up next season.

I was waiting for Daring Fireball's Gruber to weigh-in (emphasis mine): Spatial computing in VisionOS is the real deal. It’s a legit productivity computing platform right now, and it’s only going to get better. It sounds like hype, but I truly belie…

I see why there's a proxy fight he may wind up losing. He's focused on only hurting Apple, not looking out for the good of Masimo.

Florian Mueller, App developer and IP authority & activist: Yes, Apple has obtained customs clearance of a Watch version *without* pulse oximetry. No, that one won't necessarily ever be actually imported and sold. They're still allowed for now …

"assertive government" should be changed to bigoted totalitarian psychos.

Masimo thinks this hiring was a smoking gun when it was really just a leaky water pistol.

Happy Holidays to all! Looking forward to 2024...

Kiani goes on to claim that Apple hired more than 20 engineers from the company, sometimes by doubling their salary, in order to have them work on similar technologies for use in the Apple Watch. "Apple could be an example of how to do things right…

This is ridiculous. There should be a veto and after all appeals are exhausted Apple should pay a steep price if they're still found to be infringing Maximo's IP. An import ban at this point would cause unnecessary harm for consumers.
