I fully expect Apple to pioneer mass robotic assembly of mobile phones, but having one or two massive factories is not the way to go. Instead, have micro-factories spread across the globe that can be centrally controlled by Apple. 3D printing would …

Homebrew always seems to get the love in these articles, but MacPorts is vastly easier to use, and offers up the latest rsync.... `sudo port install rsync` Of course, you first need to install MacPorts, which is super easy. www [.] macports [.] o…

The technology exists now... Apple should focus on fully automated assembly in "micro-factories" located in each strategic market. As demand goes up and down, so does output. Time for a monumental shift in thinking.

Headline says "wide", but should that not be "thick"? It would be cool for Apple to announce new battery technology that they've developed in-house that blows existing battery tech out of the water. One can dream...

I'm very confused by this... Specifically, the EU claims that Apple has failed to comply with an obligation to allow developers in its App Store to freely inform customers of alternative offers, "steer them to those offers and allow them to make p…

I wish both the macOS Finder and the iOS Files app allowed browsing of Zip archives without first expanding. Applications and Packages (.app and .pkg) should be compressed as Zip archives to reduce their size, too.

Has this claim been validated? The dialog text specifically says the user can "delete any attachments" they don't want to submit, so wouldn't that include attachments related to the AI training, while still submitting the bug report? Seems like op…

Apple's "Human Interface Guidelines" are seriously inconsistent lately. I never would have thought that clicking a tiny (i) button was the next step in the process.

I had much more luck installing WINE via MacPorts than using CrossOver. The Windows app just fired right up. Trying to figure out CrossOver was confusing and a time vampire. Not seeing the benefit.

Good. This should be a globally-funded nonprofit effort, not dependent on government funding.

The risks of CSAM were blown way out of proportion by people that didn't understand it. Same thing is happening here.

Who's excited for the 50th year celebrations?!? Apple has a chance to make it BIG!

Happy birthday, Apple! We miss you, Steve.

Very confused about the mention of "Password Timers".... yet the article is talking about the Verification Code feature that rotates its code once a minute? That feature has been there all along.. it's not new to 15.4. (A verification code is n…

This is quite concerning. First, who in their right mind would implement using only http:// (non-secure)? Second, why was this not caught during basic testing and evaluation? This is basic stuff.
