Homebrew always seems to get the love in these articles, but MacPorts is vastly easier to use, and offers up the latest rsync....

`sudo port install rsync`

Of course, you first need to install MacPorts, which is super easy. www [.] macports [.] org

And thank you to the editors for the country-specific currency mentions. It's been increasingly frustrating to have articles written mentioning price, but without mentioning the currency or country. Not everyone lives in the US, or uses USD in day-to-day life.

Agreed. Clickbait headline. But in all fairness, it's clearly still another illustrative example of how Windows is a mess, and too risky to be so widely deployed. The addiction has to stop.
