Sounds like a line of BS to me... why would a camera newer than my ZR80 not work? The ZR100 is not an HDV camera, if that's perhaps what's confusing the original poster. I still contend if it's firewire, it'll work.

Aren't all Firewire cams supported? What are the issues you're hearing about? My Canon ZR80 is supported, although a couple of years older than your ZR100.

I've noticed the same thing and thought it was just me. This is probably a bug.

You might want to check on linuxprinting.org as well. Despite the name, there is an OS X section. I used it to configure my new HP 5940. I'd love one of these new multi-function printers (either Canon or Epson) but neither brands have supported…

Is there a free Xvid plugin for Quicktime? I like the fact that I can get a fully free (and legal) codec pack for Windows Media Player (on Windows) that will let me play just about any media file out there. I wish the same were true with Quickti…

They're not listed as upgraded on Apple.ca, so don't expect to get one in a store either...

But it's only 512MB/1GB of data... there can't be more than a few seconds difference in filling the slowest vs. the fastest flash drives.

There are also standalone video scalers/processors that output 1080p from an 1080i input.
