MacMall doubles the ram to 512 for a $40.00 fee. They are also offering bluetooth installed (keyboard and mouse included) for about $200 extra I believe.

My local Apple Store had a 17" on display. Only the power cord was run through the hole. 4 other cables were plugged directly into the i/o ports with ties around them. Go figure.

Stores may have demo units (possibly the ones on display in Paris) but I doubt they will have any for sale. Shipping will probably be via air from Taiwan (as previous when new iMacs were first introduced). Just a guess, of course.

Looking at the screen of the new iMac reminds me of what a Polaroid Spectra (now called Image) print looks like: There's really not anything new, just the "execution" of the design. In this case the new iMac is very well done in my opinion.
