How is "Wi-Fi only" different from turning off use of cellular data in iOS settings that is already available for every app?

Siri is next to useless, and I find using it to be a constant source of frustration. I tried to use it yesterday to request directions from the Paradise Rock Club in Boston to a nearby hotel; it presented my with a list of places with Paradise in t…

I'm getting an Audi A4 with (USB) CarPlay, but it also has a wifi hotspot, so I'm hopeful that wifi CarPlay will be added in a future software update.

I really liked my Tidal trial, esp lossless streaming to my Oppo BDP-105 over wi-fi at home. But $20/mo is kinda steep for the amount I used it, I'd go back if the price comes down.

I'm not seeing this change yet in New England. Is it a phased roll-out?

Did the Remote app support the Apple TV 3 on launch day? I honestly don't remember. I agree it would have been nice, as would keyboard support, for entering all those passwords, but most of mine were via activation websites so I could use my iPhone…

Headline says tvOS 9.2 beta, article says tvOS 9.1 beta. I assume it's the latter.

Where did the buy links go in iOS 9.1 (publc beta)? The "New" video clearly shows the "Show in iTunes Store" button, but it seems to be missing in iOS 9.1, ay least for me. I hope it's a bug and not intentional.

Does anyone know how to purchase songs from within the Music app in iOS 9.1? There used to be a "Show in iTunes Store" menu button accessible from the More (...) button in 9.0 beta (as shown below), but I can't find it in 9.1 beta 1 or 2. Did it ge…

For most of us, buying a car is a very different experience than buying a phone. It's usually not a spur of the moment decision and involves significant financing, It's all well and good to be coy about future iPhone models, but the CarPlay vaporwa…

In the previous version, Shift+Get Info menu would bring up the legacy info dialog. In the current version, that functionality has either been removed or is broken. I loathe the new info dialog that imposes its notion of which metadata fields that…

Not sure that you understand the science yourself. 16 bits is enough to span the real hearing range with room to spare. While using 24 bits for playback at least does no harm, it doesn't help either. It does make sense to use 24 bits in recording &a…

Can it be used to manipulate Settings? I'd love a "shortcut" for toggling Location Services on/off.
