Also, the 3G iPhone will contain different hardware (3G chipset) so you'll have to buy a new phone to move to the 3G network. I think the 3G version will be *announced* within 1-2 months, but will not be available until September/October.

It's an interesting idea, but without iTunes connectivity it's hard to tell how useful it would be. As far as the interface, it's awkward to have the "Last.fm Tracks" button above the text input fields, and the text box at the bottom seems redundant…

I can't stand to use iTunes as a video player. I use it to download video podcasts and sometimes videos from the iTunes Store, but I always use QT Player to actually watch the videos. I'd be nice if Apple made a dedicated app for managing/playing…

I think Gruber predicted 24M and I don't think that's far off. The new shuffle is crazy popular.

The same could be said about Windows vs. OS X. It's not just about functionality, it's about usability and seamless integration with other Apple products.

Hopefully this does signal that Apple will be an MVNO... Then they'll have three major platforms that they'll control from top to bottom: 1. Mac/Mac OS X 2. iPod/iTunes 3. iPhone/Mac Mobile All of which will interoperate, of course, and suck…

Everyone's experience is different, so unfortunately you'll just have to choose one and see if it works for you. Personally, I've had no trouble with LaCie drives, but I keep backups around just in case!

No, but Darren Aronofsky (Requiem, Pi) does have a new film coming out soon: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/thefountain/hd/

I like a lot of the UI changes in iTunes 7, but the buttons at the bottom are really awful and the iPod manager -- while cool -- does not fit with anything else Apple has done in OS X. It looks like a frakking webpage!

Clark Johnson is also a director; mainly TV shows like The Shield, but he did make The Sentinel with Michael Douglas recently. And if you like Andre Brougher, I suggest you download the first season of Thief if you haven't seen it already. Very inte…
