Apple is in a tough spot with AI. For some new entrant they can show off some whiz bang demo and if it gets it right the pundits cheer. If there are some misses they get ignored. Apple is not a new entrant. Apple has well over a billion users who t…

Goven that they had at least a year of feedback from end users this likely has a host of small changes under the hood to remove bottlenecks, make it easier to build and support. Putting in an M4 or M5 will future proof it a little as well. Maybe som…

The cost of titanium doesn't seem like a big deal. Titanium costs ~$5.75/kg vs ~$2.20 for Al. Besides, less titanium would be used because it is much stronger which would offset the cost. Machining titanium is more difficult which would probably add…

Agree with above comments. I have an LG OLED TV which is very nice but I’ve never connected it to the internet. Works fine. I get over-the-air content or use my AppleTV for content.

I’m not critical of Apple for this. Generally, when Apple adds a feature it is to a core feature set. The clipboard has been around forever and so have ideas about improving it. If anything, I’m surprised it took Apple this long to add even this min…

I like the Affinity apps. However, I am back using Pages for a book I’m writing because, unless I have been misinformed, Affinity Publisher only exports to PDF, not to eBooks format which is what I need.

It would be interesting to see a plot of estimated installed base. As everyone else has pointed out, it is not that the Watch is not popular, it is more that everyone has one. Different products have different life times. The iPhone seems to be re…

I upgraded my 2019 iMac i9 to almost the same configuration as Gallagher did. My work flow is easier but occasionally I have some heavy lifting to do. I am amazed at how powerful this is. The Affinity apps are great but took a while to load and were…

I’m old so I started with small computers that probably had less power than is in my mouse or Apple Pencil. I just got an M4 Max Mac Studio and it is beyond awesome. Kudos to everyone at Apple, especially to Mr. Srouji’s group. I really wonder what…

I’m slowly starting to use the files app more and more, both on the iPad and the iPhone. I haven’t wrapped my head around it well enough yet to criticize it much. I haven’t tried this yet. Can I open two instances of the Files app in Split View an…

Looking forward to this. I like Clooney in almost everything he does. Severance is good and I can't wait for the next season. Some stuff on Apple TV+ I don't care for (like Palm Royale) but I'm happy that other people like it. We've enjoyed a numb…

May is when they announce dividend increases. I’m expecting a 5% increase, but I’m hoping for a at least a 10% increase or more.

Looks like now The Daily Show is having a problem with Jon Stewart. LOL

Or you could watch Tubi or Pluto TV for free.

I got my iP 14 on the first launch weekend. It is still at 100%. I charge each evening with optimized charging using an Anker charger. Usually in the evening it is at about 80%. My iPad on the other hand gets drained and recharged twice a day.

Marjorie Taylor Green and Loren Boebert on the undercard. Pay per view.

I use Concepts a lot. I’m not an artist, but with the tools and great layer support I find it very useful for sketching the layouts I need. This is a very well supported app that is worth checking out.

There are a number of options to fine tune the transparency and other features of the AirPods. Apple doesn’t list them as such. Instead they show up as options in Accessibility for some reason.
