I’m pretty sure that this works with any Apple Watch paired to an iPhone, but can someone point to an article that says this is true or does it only work with the cellular versionn of the Apple Watch?

"There are 6,700 patents on the study" I think you mean patients, not patents.

Five years? This wasn't a breach. Sounds more like they had permission.

I'm looking forward to watching this. I'm hoping it is something I can get immersed in and think about what I'm watching. Maybe some of the reviewers were expecting a vapid J. J. Abrams film with lots of lasers, explosions and people performing impo…

To be clear, this is a small minority of employees.

I’m OK with a digital ID working like a credit card; I wave my hand over a reader and get verified. I’m leery of handing over my iPhone to anyone.

Go to the address in Apple Maps and use Look Around to see the before pictures. Quite interesting. Just down the street Urban Outfitters took over another old theater, the Rialto.

What Apps were they using on the iPad? The first was some sort of photo app I’m not familiar with. Next I think was Keynote, then FaceTime. What was the drawing app at the end?

Did Google "Sherlock" Apple when they developed Android as a copy of iOS?

I’m so tired of this sort of thing. You can get a patent for the idea of measuring something with a microprocessor and sensors? Sheesh. Didn’t the USPTO used to require a working model to get a patent? Too bad my grandfather didn’t know about t…

I don’t _need_ it, but the better display, LiDAR, better performance and Thunderbolt are all good incentives, so I probably will upgrade from the 2018 version. I’d like to see them in the store first.

This kind of makes sense. Most of us have too many headphones and power adapters laying around. For those that don't this is a good way for 3rd party sellers to gain a leg up. They can offer an iPhone with these bundled for free as a way to discount…

I'm siding with Apple on this. The cutout in the pear leaf is almost identical to the leaf in the Apple logo. Perhaps it is this one detail that triggered the lawsuit. Logos are quite specific. I'll bet that if Prepear negotiated with Apple they c…

Regarding the lack of a FaceTime camera on the 6k monitor, it may be that these are used in a lot of secure locations that don’t allow cameras. Personally, I’m happy using my Apple Watch to unlock my iMac, I don’t need Face ID.

This is a great editorial. Operations has been the magic of Apple hiding in plain site. You don't see it in the product pictures, or the testimonials. It shows up when you realize that Apple products sell well over a hundred million units a year. …

On kickstarter you can get PaperLike version 2. I got it but didn’t open the package yet. Version 1 was ok but clouded the display too much for my taste. You need to wash it frequently. I would like a separate sheet I could apply when writing and d…

lkrupp said: tht said: The AR glasses, another wearable, could be quite the game changer, and put the wearables category into the iPhone space in terms of revenue. Some fashion challenges involving wearing glasses in the first place, b…

I recall when this happened. It was stunning. Not only did Apple come out with a 64 bit SoC, they had the compilers ready to go and they had their own apps compiled for this. A stunning amount of coordinated work. At the time people complained that…

One more nice feature for the new AirPods is transparency mode. It blends in some of the external sounds so you can be aware of your surroundings or converse with someone without removing the AirPods. This is my first pair. I’m looking forward to u…

We won't know till it happens, but one thought being tossed about is that the analysts are changing their opinion of Apple and starting to view it as a steady revenue producer rather than being dependent on yearly success of the iPhone introductions…
