Apple should get into this game and offer both privacy and net neutrality to internet users in every state. Fortunately, it would not take a long time for Apple to do that, because of new technology that is just around the corner. In 2020, 5G…

Maybe Rubin is out because the phone he designed was a disappointment. The fraternization issues mentioned in the article would have been dealt with by Google many years ago.

I got a leather case for my iPhone 8 (not X), and it is both thin and attractive. I have never been a user of cases, but am a happy customer with this case. The case does not interfere with inductive charging.

Just for the sake of argument, assume that Bloomberg’s report is 100% accurate. Apple promised 1-in-1 million accuracy during the launch of iPhone X. That continues to be its standard (=20x50,000), AFTER all of the events reported by Bloomberg. S…

An article a few days ago said that Apple is selling more iPhone 7’s than 8’s. They have comparable profit margins. Also, some potential iPhone 8 buyers are waiting for X. They have larger profit margins. In short, the iPhone 8 is being cannibali…

How about enabling iPhone to be shut down with Apple Watch or another device that shares the same iCloud account.

Apple's “A11 Bionic is an applications processor powerhouse [which] ... blows away its mobile chip forebears, and even matches low-end MacBook Pro models in certain benchmarks.” The A11 has an estimated cost of about $32. Meanwhile, Intel’s la…

The 50 million pre-orders must refer to Apple’s orders to Foxconn and components suppliers for the entire quarter. Possibly longer. Apple will not receive anything like 50 million customer orders for iPhone X prior to launch, particulately at price…

The 12W iPad charger/adaptor is the most powerful one that is effective on iPhone. Larger chargers intended for MacBooks will work with iPhone, but won't speed up the charging process compared to 12W. This information was provided in the Q&A c…

@Marvin - "There's an example of what can be done with 3D sensing with Sony's new XPeria phone...." Awesome comment Marvin! One of the best ever. The use of the technology in movies (Fast & Furious 7) makes it crystal clear what Apple is do…

Game-playing children could identify and label a billion photos of everyday objects, if software were designed which kept them entertained. Accuracy would be boosted by crowd-sourcing the exercise, so that a high variance in assigned tags would ide…

That 6.3" Galaxy would compete in the same category as iPad Mini, if it had a better OS. I notice that it will ship with an old version of Android.
