AniMill said: I hope that this set of upgrades comes to the Kindle Paper White. USB-C, waterproof, larger screen with dark-mode…all pluses for me. iPad for productivity, Kindle for chill. The Paperwhite already got those upgrades more than…

Not sure if "I'm stressed, you got me feeling nauseous" is the best lyric for an advertisement.

Wow, I can finally see what's on Apple TV+ without things from other services intermixed. That only took a year.

Face ID gradually learned to identify me with my mask. Mask plus sunglasses, even. Surely I'm not alone in this.

The screensaver selection seems to favor some scenes over others. I've seen the Burj Khalifa and that Chinese canyon forest so many times.

If Apple really does manage to get rid of the notch, I could see the screen going back to 16:9 again.

The two iPad pro updates we've seen were both 15 months apart. There's no precedent for a 12-month cycle like the phones.

People on Reddit are saying that 13.1 enables night mode on their XS and XR. Here's hoping this isn't an accident and Apple actually gives it to us A12ers in the final release.

Once the entire industry has moved to behind-screen front cameras and deliver a true edge-to-edge screen, I really can't see Apple hanging onto the notch just for gimmicky features like animoji and highly detailed Snapchat filters. Apple has recent …

The renders for the new models look like they have substantially larger lenses than the current generation which would suggest that they're using larger sensors. I suspect Apple resented losing their traditional lead position in cameras and are inte…

Apple already sold this computer - it was the old Mac Pro and it was $2500. In 2013 they decided that the Pro was only going to be for people doing video production and everyone else needs to buy an iMac.

anome said: Why are the lenses so much bigger than the ones on the Xs? Larger sensors require larger lenses. They may be upping the image quality considerably in this generation.

I'd be down for an AirBeats X.

"it's better for AR" was the first explanation people came up with for the vertical orientation, but I was under the impression it was because the new sensor array took up too much space across the top. It seems unlikely that they miniaturized thing…

Google Assistant started suggesting that you set up a Siri shortcut for "OK Google" which I'd done. As of 12.1.1, Siri now gives you a cheeky response. It's still possible to use a shortcut, you just have to use a different trigger. How petty.
