Considering I virtually nevvvvver see anyone with an iphone without a case on it (my experience, your mileage may vary), I would think many don't get too excited about the available back colors. What I like is a black front bezel, instead of white. …

Leaving Apple doesn't seem like a big deal, he's probably rich enough to retire entirely and still be well off forever. The odd thing is that he'd choose to go to GoPro. It really seems like a dying company. I work at a place right next to their HQ …

Ok, but nowhere to you note what the heck "fan-out" packaging technology actually is?

I think there's a bug with the screensaver. I tried setting "my photos" as the screensaver, but it doesn't seem to stick. Instead you can navigate to individual photos, which is sort of pointless. You select any photo, it pops up, but all you can th…

I need significant CPU power for audio DSP. I get that fine these days with whatever the top end is for MacBook Pros, and haven't needed to go up to Mac Pro or higher GHz iMac. However, the current state of apple's A-series ARM CPUs don't come close…

I think it's pretty short-sighted to say things like "oh they get what they deserve if they're illegally downloading torrents" or "I used reputable software, I don't have to worry about this". This could have easily happened with some other piece of…

I wonder if there's any way to tell which A9 processor "version" is in my new 6s without taking the phone apart?

Are you sure you're opening it right? You don't want to just "open" a video file in iMovie, that's for opening iMovie files. You'll want to instead import your video files into your open iMovie doc so you can then work on them.

I know it'd be overkill for 99% of users, but I kinda wish they would make a 256GB iPhone version, so I could finally load ALL my music in there and ditch my well worn iPod classic that I still use every day in my car. Don't expect that to happen th…

I have no issue with the content of this article. However, this is basically a near-verbatim rehash of some past articles from here at AppleInsider, with some minor mentions of the upcoming WWDC tacked on to make it seem like a new article. The cont…

A few minor things on SolarCity: Elon Musk doesn't own or run SolarCity. It's a publicly traded company, and he is on the board of directors. The founders and CEO and CTO are his cousins Lyndon and Peter Rive. I believe Musk contributed to funding…
