When they talk about it being slow or locking up, I can only assume they are using the 8GB model? I have the M1 16GB 3TB model and I have probably 100+ tabs open with a lot of apps open too. I've edited 4k video too. It's more than a "spreadsheet" m…

Where is the Mac Pro? What chip will it use? Graphics? Memory? Slots? This is the real mystery.

The TouchBar is annoying garbage.

Whatever goes into the MacPro at this point clearly will skip the M1 chip now that the M2 is already beginning to roll out. Any clue what a MacPro configuration might look like?

Please, someone kill USB-A !!!

I so rarely use the iPhone 13 lightening port I doubt it matters much, now that I have wireless charging and WiFi 6. My Mac is also WiFi 6. Most everything else I have is either USB-C or lightening. The only USB-A device I have is a thumb drive. Por…

All I want is a 14" M2 (base processor) with MagSafe, 2-Thunderbolt ports, 32-GB RAM and support for 2-monitors. A few extra cores, the media engine and real function keys will round things out well, provided it has a black bezel and keys. Love to …

We now know the MacMini is not getting a PRO or MAX chip, which is what I've been saying all along. I'm guessing the bare bones Studio starts at no less than $2k but it's likely to be closer to $3k. The Mini will simply get the base M2 that's coming…

This people hoping for a cheap MacMini with a Pro chips are going to be disappointed.

tenthousandthings said: Makes sense for the much-rumored Mini Pro and iMac Pro. As for an M1 portable next month, not much makes sense with the M2 on the horizon. I'll go out on a limb and guess it has to be a MacBook, with colors. A lower-e…

Oh well, don't let the door hit you on the way out!

I have serious doubts they will upgrade the current MacMini up to a Pro or Max. They will likely have a mini tower type case with significantly higher price points starting around $2000.
