I can't help think that if Apple were a French company then the authorities would be in favour of a closed system monopoly. This has all been proposed in the name of the consumer but in fact it's a steaming pile of xenophobic horse dung. I just …

If this isn't an opportunity for VMWare to step up to the plate then I don't know what is. I do hope VMWare know what a huge market there would be for their product on Mac OS X. If they were to enter the fray then that would be a rather hot poker…

What makes Google think it will succeed where all of the other Music Store wannabes haven't? They'd be better off signing up for the iTunes affiliate program and putting relevant iTunes song links into search results rather than trying to take on…

Well I just removed Flip4Mac and VLC works fine again! As my moniker would suggest I've never been a fan of M$. This just goes to reinforce that opinion. Apologies for my false accusation of 10.4.4 and VLC. Looks like Flip4Mac isn't so much a pl…

Let's hope 10.4.5 fixes all the bugs introduced in 10.4.4 - I've had a lot more crashes in various apps since upgrading from 10.4.3. One of my most used apps, VLC, is now totally unusable on my Mac mini with 10.4.4.

Has anyone considered that the mention of iWeb may just have been put there to mislead everyone prior to MWSF (and give Dan Wood a few sleepless nights)? The fact that Apple haven't trademarked iWeb coupled with the number of other businesses tha…
