Never been excited about Roku product. I have owned an Apple TV of some sort since day one. I currently have a Apple TV 4k but also have an nVidia Shield which I like quite a bit too.

4K on YouTube would be nice but extremely unlikely Apple TV (sometimes) 4K.

Apple has the leverage to bully developers in iOS but not quite so much in regards to MacOS. Not saying Metal is bad. It’s not and likely better in most aspects.

The Roku is ok. But the Apple TV has better quality apps plus some pretty good games. Also quite a bit more powerful. The Roku’s main card is pricing. It’s most expensive box is about half the price of a 4k Apple TV.
