Come out and say it: COCOA FINDER!

Mac Pro's top selling model at a store? That must have been some promotion! I've heard some confusion over Mac models likely sales figures after the 70% notebooks headline came out. Here's my uninformed guess as to how they break down in general:…

Why didn't they just go and call it Windows Mojave anyway?

In a press release today, AppleInsider announced that rumor readers' favourite analyst - Shaw Wu - has taken up a position at a different firm. When asked about his move, Wu muttered something about having being institutionalized, followed by what A…

DirectX has long been one of Microsoft's crown jewels. By dragging their feet on OpenGL support in Windows - for a long time "OpenGL" was synonymous with "broken or laggy at best" for gamers - MS won a significant position of leverage for itself in …

Guys, anyone who thinks AMD will be releasing OpenCL aware drivers for their older cards is nuts. I like ATI like the next guy who was 100% Radeon for years. But if the roles were reversed: Nvidia would hold out their labs features for FUTURE pr…

190 MB download in Software Update for my PowerBook on 10.5.5 ? I wouldn't read too much into the delta v combo sizes. They've been all over the place with Leopard. I fully expect my Intel desktop to wind up with something quite different.

Nat West is a large UK bank. Sounds like this guy had another target in mind when he registered that domain.

Good to see something finally taking on Symbian / Nokia out here in the rest of the world. Phones have been so booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooring.

Is the iPhone the biggest leap forward in phones this century? Now that we've sorted that out, no one's talking about driving competitors out of business. Just giving the whole industry a much needed kick up the backside and getting progress back…

Traditionally, Apple's displays have matched their desktop systems, and tend to lag behind a bit. I remember when the G5 came out in 2003, and the demo systems were hooked up to candy style "G4 era" displays. So if the past is anything to go by:N…

Sounds like good news to me, and very plausible. Hopefully Apple can get a bit of power conscious mojo into heat packing nVidia. And hopefully Intel can take this on the chin, and learn to share QPI for some SLI loving in return!

Spot on as always Daniel. I know today's news from ARM would prick your ears! Apple aren't wasting their time on slablet Macs with Atom. ARM is where it's at, and if they have their way it's where it's going to stay.
